Geneva 2010 : an other international cultural capital
No, you aren’t dreaming, it is really a flying elephant in Geneva’sky!
Geneva, famous Swiss city for its cultural diversity and as an international crossroads (World Bank, World Health Organization, UNESCO, UNICEF, UNO…), has won a new title in February:
the First international capital of the Circus world in 2010.
City, capital, culture, international context, two thousands and some years… Does it remind you anything?
With many conferences, exhibitions, cultural events, it is between 7 and 10 big top of circus which will be built, deconstructed, and built again.
By creating an event, Geneva wants to tribute to the special enchantment of the circus world, made by music, traditions, wild animals and untameable … acrobats!
